Massive amounts of ground level leaves

I'm not too worried about it because they look healthy for now, just seems a bit weird, but my hab is putting out massive amounts of tiny leaves really close to the ground.

Is this a good thing? Bad? Normal?

in my first year here i have found 2 things to consider with low leaves like that.
one is light. Will light be able to reach those leaves and keep them healthy. Pruning some shade leaves will help there.
the other thing i worry about is burying the leaves during watering. It seem that my leaves dont like to touch the wet soil and if they do i will almost always see weird thing happen to those leaves

Thanks for the cautionary advice Oski, I had kinda worried about that. They seems to get a fair amount of light but I might do some preemptive pruning of large leaves just to be safe.

My naga morich is doing the same thing. I assume its. Good thing but seeing as I'm a first time grower I'm not 100% sure either

I've been trimming all the lower leaves like that off. For me, anything below the first 2 inches gets cut. They probably won't get very much light anyways, and I want to give space between the soil and the leaves mostly for improved air circulation. The leaves that touch the soil will probably fall of eventually anyways.
