Maybe an Aji ...

My knowledge on Aji's is poor but to me it looks not dissimilar from an Aji Cito although red. When I tapped the pod wall it sounded hollow as you can see the wall is very thin. Had a pleasant floral smell with a nice amount of heat but not overpowering. Plant was my tallest this season with two lateral branches reaching nearly six feet ... Annuum shaped leaf and plain white flower.

I finally figured out what mine was, I don't know how I got the seeds for this plant, but it turns out to be an Aji Crystal - 1st pic came from the internet, other two are from my garden -

they are actually hotter when they ae green.... seem to turn warm and get sweet...

Nope, that's not Aji Cito. Although some baccatums have a shape that's similar, that thing has a lot of placental tissue, so I wouldn't rule out a chinense. Where'd you get it?
+1 flower pic
Mike as you know I am a fanatical Scotch Bonnet enthusiast so when I received a packet labelled "Matthew Arthur Yellow Flats" I thought I might have something special. It was not until the pod started to form that I realised I might have something different

I don't know Matthew but I believe he is a true naturalist who plants outside with different varieties and allows nature to take its course. Some say he ruins some varieties but creates others .... Seemingly its "all about the bees"

Aji Norteno has also been mentioned
