Today I am going to review Melinda's Red Savina Sauce. I got this partly because the Red Savina is my favorite pepper for hot sauces and also because I never tried anything from the Melinda range. This sauce is a good one, no doubt about it. The consistency is very thick and chunky. i don't know why they have that dropper top on the bottle. It is useless. The consistency actually reminds me a little bit of Cajohn's Talon, although it is not as hot as Talon. That being said it still gives a pretty good mouth burn. Flavor is Red Savina with salt and some other flavors. Unlike a lot of people I actually like the high salt content. The heat is great for chiliheads, but is not brutal. Hot sauce novices may want to start out slow however.
