We don't have a lot of hot sauce choices in the markets that I frequent, other than Mexican-style, but I came across this one yesterday.

I took it to work, and tried a teaspoonful. Red peppers specks were apparent in the off-mango colored sauce, and even though it poured fairly easily, it was chunky. Based on the list of ingredients, I was expecting "hot and fruity". Instead, what I got was "hot and vinegary". There was a third flavor that may have been the peppers, but I've never eaten scotch bonnets before, so I can't identify it. Anyway, after trying it again on some food later, I gave the bottle away. If this is a standard for a West Indies-style hot sauce, then, I guess I don't care for them.
