Yeah, i plan to overwinter the Murupi Amarela, Big Black Mama, Bhutlah Gold and Rocoto P414.
BBM und Bhutlah Gold a very late and got only 2 or 3 pods. So next year they can start right away!
 
Will be interested in your pickle mix for your Jalapeño's .... everyone has a different recipe and having served in Germany I know that you have some great pickles. Hope your over winter goes well ...

No Problem! I hope the names of the ingredients are right. Some of them i had to translate with Google :D
 
You Need:
[SIZE=12pt]Jalapenos
Silverskin Onions
[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Garlic
Black Pepper
Salt
Cumin
[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mustard Seeds[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Bay leafs
Vinegar (i use brandy- vinegar)
Water
[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Brown Sugar[/SIZE]

 
First i the Jalapenos in salty water over night.
The next day i cut the Jalapenos and fill them in glasses with 3 silverskin onions, half clove of garlic and 2 teaspoons of mustard seeds.
Then put [SIZE=12pt]1 liter water (0,26 gallons), 1 liter vinegar and 45g (3/8 Cup or 0,1 lb or 1,59 oz) salt in a pot and let it boil. Got some problems with your units here :( What do you use?[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]When its boiling you need to add 1 teaspoon Cumin, 3 teaspoons black pepper and 6 teaspoons brown sugar. [/SIZE]
 
[SIZE=medium]Then put the boiling mix in the glasses and Close them. I put the glasses in boiling water after that for ten minutes just to be sure. [/SIZE]
 
 
[SIZE=medium]Today i want to show you something special. I´m in a german pepper Forum as well and got some seeds from the "Candlelight Mutant" (Thanks again to Bluesman!). [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]As you can see, there are a lot of blossoms but no fruits. Hope they start to get fruits now, after i gave them fertilizer.[/SIZE]
 
Thank you ever so much for the pickle Jalapeño's receipe ... I will definitely give that a try as my Jalapeño's are all starting to ripen. Great chilli from Rauno I read with intrest that an Italian vendor was selling a mutant chilli for €100 as there is you with four of them

Good luck I am sure the pods will soon form

Yeah! I cant show you pictures of ripened pots, because there are none :D But a friend of mine grew it as well and it are pretty big, red pots!
The most beautiful thing of the P414 is the blossom!
