Well I had 2 plants that I O.D'd on fert, i chopped all affected leaves off and now i am beginning to get something close to a bush, is there any way to encourage the plant to grow upwards? Should i snip some of these leaves off to allow it to focus some energy into the roots and shoots?

This is an ornamental variety we are talking about "explosive ember" which usually grows only 30ish centimeters but yeah
