Mislabeled Trinidad Moruga Scorpion--WTH??

Bought this plant labeled as a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion.  I was really happy to see tons of flowers on it.  But now that the peppers are emerging they look long and thin, not what I was expecting at all.  Can anyone id these at this point?  I'm not sure if the shape of the plant (crowded, bunched up top) is a characteristic of the pepper type or the result of a deer biting off the top when it was small, or a result of me surrounding it with chicken wire to keep the deer off it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

That happened to me this year with a scorpion, a Red Savina and a scotch bonnet that I purchased at a local nursery. Your best bet is to order plants early in the season from juanitos.

I agree that it's an annuum. Cheongyang Gochu produces a big spray at the crown of the plant like that in my experience, but it seems unlikely that your average nursery would have those. In any event, it's definitely not a Moruga.
