Miss California

Hey, they asked her a controversial question and she shot from the hip. I don't agree with her opinion on the subject but that doesn't mean I hate her. It's sad that she's getting such a lashing for it.
 
i can't see the problem asking her a question is like asking someone on the street, i mean what does a Miss Universe do for the world? what do her opinions really count for in the world? nothing much IMO

the whole "beauty queen" thing is a bit lame really, they may look good but the lights are on but it's burglars inside, i mean they are so false and stand for nothing of any worth.
i'm sorry but orange wimmen just don't do it for me, neither does an inch of makeup to hide any slight blemish

Im with you Dave, they add absolutely nothing to the world except the odd stiffy.
 
That's a pretty dumb question for the environment. It's very divisive. She wasn't judged based on her ability to present her opinion, she was judged based on whether or not her opinion aligned with the judges. BS man. I thought she answered it well, and you could tell that she was expecting that people wouldn't like her take, but she gave it anyhow because it's what she feels/thinks/been told...whatever. I think she showed guts, and sometimes guts is enough. Like Hartman said...
 
she is very hot. but totally think that it's BS she got all the flack she did. she was honest - if you agree with her or you don't it's her opinion. Perez was on Larry King talking about this and said that "she answered the question wrong." Basically he (perez) said that Miss USA needs to be politically correct - that he (perez) doesn't want a Miss USA that is politically incorrect. HUH??

if you go to perez's website he seems like a jerk anyway. just a bunch of BS.

If I saw that guy on the street I would not hesitate to smack him in the head ( taking him off his feet) just for general principles.

How he got to be a judge? don't know. kinda strange to have a gay guy judging a beauty contest.

The 'thing' is he got to ask a question to Miss CA. He asked something to the effect that 4 states allow gay marriage. should other states follow suit? why or why not?

and basically she said the way she was raised marriage is between a man and a woman. Hilton is gay therefore she answered 'wrong'.
