pests Moar pests

     Looks like an aphid. If you can swing it, plant some marigolds near your plants. If your peppers are in containers, just put some marigolds in smaller pots (maybe 1/2 to 1 gallon) and place them among your plants. They will attract predator insects that will keep the aphids in check. 
     Otherwise, just keep an eye on the new growth on your plants to see if aphids are colonizing them. If so, squish them by hand or use insecticidal soap every few days.
     Good luck! And as suchen said, don't sweat it. Pests come and go, infestations and patterns of damage are what you need to be concerned about.
 
Is it just me or does it look like a 1-winged fungus gnat? (that is actually not a question, I think you have fungus gnats)
