Mutation ?

This came off one of my Caribbean Red plants. I'm saving the seeds but the shape looks just like a moruga. What do you guys think ?

I haven't tasted it yet. I'll try it tonight and see.

I have seen several instances where the Mudd genetics of the moruga shape show up on plants where it should not. I attribute it to open pollination and the results thereof. I have a unidentified habanero right now that are showing slight indications of the bbg phenol.

I didn't grow any morugas this year. I'll update the taste test tomorrow.

What I am saying is, there may have been a cross pollination in the plants history. May have been a few generations back but the Mudd is there.
