My apache pepper plant

Should I be worrying that this is producing peppers at such a small size? That pot is about 10 inches wide at the top.

I haven't given this thing any fertilizer yet, will a tomato / vegetable liquid fertilizer do?

Gday mate welcome to the forum!, yer sure that will be fine...
Just follow the dose recommended from the fertilizer. Dont over do it! You are always better off with less than more.

It is definitely time to give it some fertilizer / other minerals, like what has already been said, DO Not over do it.

As for the pods, it is up to you, some people leave them, others pinch them off to help the plant focus it's energy on growth instead of fruit production. I'm one of the people that usually remove pods until the plant is bigger. I do sometimes leave a couple of pods if I think the plant can handle it.
