Thats what I need to learn to do.Is there somewhere with detailed instructions?
I followed this pictorial for cleft grafting ( this pictorial was made for mango tree cleft grafting, but its work for chili plant too)

Aye it does, I did this earlier in the season with a chinense scion (Scotch Bonnet), onto an Annuum (Cayenne). It is a happy little chimera at the moment. First pods coming off the Cayenne in the next couple days.

I understand the point in grafting say a douglah onto a part of a habanero, but why graft a douglah onto a root stalk? Is there some kind of benefit to the plant?

Only I think if the rootstock has a particular resistance that the scion lacks.

In the above cases, I don't think that this is a factor. But I don't know that for sure.

Thanks Habanerohead :)

Unfreakinbelievably COOL!!

I am DEFINITELY going to try this next season.

I am imagining an 8ft mother like PepperGurus fatalii sporting a dozen or so killer varieties. That would be freakin EPIC. Jungleboy you are well on your way!

Will be having a look at your glog and links. Please keep us updated on this Frankenstein!

Thanks for sharing!
