My Crop of PUSA JWALA and SANNAM

Friends,

This season was disappointing in Michigan . Unusual cold summer resulted in poor crop.
I harvested only about 2 lbs of Pusa Jwala and a few sannams.

I have stored them in my deep fridge.

It is a bad harvest. I should have got something like 10 to 12 pounds of peppers with my huge plants and 8 in number.
Bad bad bad year.

Still, it's gonna make some yummy stuff at any rate, I'd say.

I'll say too!

The sannams, are they also known as guntur chillies do you know?

I buy dried gunturs from my local Indian import store, and they are awesome! Every Indian curry should have them!

I took some of the seeds, planted them, and have managed to get a few to sprout. I've never had them fresh so I can't wait to hopefully produce some.

Also, you wouldn't have an idea what these bad boys here are would you? Sannams?

I buy them frozen from the same Indian shop. Another awesome addition to curry. And a surprising little sting for green chillies.
