My indoor Caribbean Red Habanero --- pictures + problem (HELP)

I brought my plant indoors sometime in September. It went from being this...

to this...

Lots of progress! Unfortunately, the only 2 flowers it produced fell off. They opened nice and wide, looked absolutely beautiful, but I guess didn't have enough sunlight to produce fruit. It doesn't appear to be the end however, as I notice a few small flower buds on the plant, so there is hope!

One thing though.... for some odd reason, some of the leaves (just some) are becoming a little deformed. They look curvy and somewhat wrinkly (instead of perfectly flat), and it's starting to worry me. What could this be? A disease? Or maybe a nutrient problem? It's quite a recent thing, and only started happening within the last 1 - 2 weeks.

Here's a pic of the strange leaves..

(You gotta click the link, it won't let me post more than 4 pics)

I HAVE noticed a few of these small black fruitfly-like insects here and there, though the majority of the time they just hang around my dwarf lemon tree which is nearby. I do not see any signs of thrip-like damage, although I have seen weird straight cuts, as if someone had taken a knife and made a slit on the side of the leaf. I even noticed something that looked like a bite (or as if someone had pinched a small piece of leaf off). This only happened on like 2 or 3 leaves, but what the hell is going on?

Thankfully, I have seen no bugs since coming back from the states 3 days ago (I was there 5 days, and I think my dad put pesticide on my plants). So it's quite possible that he killed them all for me.. yet I still cannot help but to worry about my plant. Help!

..

Moyboy or aj please move this thread. OK so it seems you have some deformed leaves they r OK, you can just pinch them or leave them. the bugs if you don't want them there you can remove them as well unless you feel they aren't doing to much harm.welcoe to the forum btw.

Uh... so you really don't think any of this is a problem?

Sorry for posting in the wrong place btw.

Well, first of all, nice penmanship on that linked pic. Are you sure you're right handed? I'm just kidding!

The leaves do look slightly wrinkled. 'Black Fruit fly' like bugs could be a couple of things. They could be fungus gnat's which are pretty much harmless and are very common, but they could also be aphids. Be sure to check the undersides of the leaves, in the curled parts of the new growth and around the plant in general on a regular basis. Aphid damage will curl and wrinkle the leaves. At the same time a nutrient deficiency will do that as well. Do you give them any sort of ferts, or supplement the soil with compost, bone meal or anything like that?

On a positive note, they do seem to be localized to a few leaves on one part of the plant so it hasn't spread very far yet.

Naw, I know what aphids look like, and they're too big to be aphids. Apparently all of em are dead, I haven't seen any lately. I still find the odd cuts and weird "pinch/bite" mysterious though.

I gave my plant some fertilizer a few weeks ago, and it really seemed to help. Maybe I should give it a lil' more tomorrow? It's been close to a month since I've last given it fertilizer..

Okay, I put some fertilizer today just before watering it. Hopefully I'll see an improvement.

Just a question though, how often should I give my plant fertilizer?

Leaf wrinkling/puckering, wtf?!

I just noticed that some other leaves are starting to wrinkle/pucker as well. WTF IS GOING ON?!!?!!?! :(
