pests My results killing aphids using Cyfluthrin 0.75% (Bayer product)

This is my first time growing pepper plants and I was given a nice fatalli mother (about 3-4 ft tall).
I have been overwintering it based off what I learned from my coworker and this forum - however, noticed an aphid outbreak today.
I am trying a product I have in the garage and used on my vegetables a few years ago and didn't see a recent post about this specific chemical so I decided to share the results. i am using:
  • Bayer Advanced Garden's Lawn and Garden Muli-Insect Killer Concentrate
    • Cyfluthrin - 0.75%
    • Other Ingredients - 99.25%
Here is my procedure:
  1. I mixed 0.5 teaspoon in 24 ounces of water in a handheld spray bottle
  2. Took the plant outside (cold Virginia day)
  3. Sprayed the entire plant (topside and underside) and the soil surface.
  4. Brought plant inside and placed on big table to observe
  5. Within 10-15 minutes, the aphids began dropping off the plant and dying (enjoyable to watch)
  6. Gently shook plant after a few hours to drop the dead aphids that were "stuck" on the plant
I'll update this post if they come back or the plant suffers/dies.
Hope this helps.

I also had great success with that particular Bayer product. They stopped selling it in my area though so I had switch to 70% Neem oil. I have to spray more often but its pretty effective.
