my little side shoots that grow from the bottom of the main stem has started growing like crazy.I have noticed that they are growing into my leaves on my main stem will this hurt the new shoots or will it be ok?

its all good buddy those guys will find there way to the top through around beside out i have all kinds some go striaght up through the middle and out the top some go striaght out some bend around and up past every thing else they will find there way

thanks jag and srb im a first time grower this year as you guys know.and im a paranoid grower to lol.i found 2 little bugs on my plants this morning when i got to work and freaked out and started to inspect every inch of them 
On a lot of my plants the side growth ended up catching up to and surpassing the main stem growth later in the season. More growth = more peppers.
yea my side shoots are growing on average 1.5-2 inches a day its crazy
