While I was out at my plants recently, I noticed a large number of ants all over my Brazilian Starfish. At first I thought Aphids, but then upon closer inspection I was pleasantly surprised.

I have only had aphids twice in the seven years I've been growing peppers, and the problem was only a single plant both times. There are no aphids on this plant, or on any other of my 70 or so plants.

WOW, LUCKY!!

Around here we get aphids all spring, summer, and fall. Only winter (which still isn't that cold in So Cal) do we get some relief. My indoor stuff never gets aphids, but anything outdoors requires regular neem sprayings.
