neil's 2010/11 indoor grow log

Hi everyone! And happy new year!

This is my 2nd year growing peppers, and after last years disaster due to lack of good weather i
decided i'd start an indoor hydro grow instead.

i dont have a lot of space to work with so i decided i'd only grow a few plants so these are the varieties i started with:

yellow 7pod
7pod jonah
trinidad scorpion morouga blend
dorset naga
fatali

these were all purchased from neil @ thehippyseedcompany.com and i'd recommend them to everyone!
he also sent me a dried bhut jolokia pod so i planted a couple of seeds from that too.

so i started 2 of each in root riot cubes on 27.9.2010 and most were up within a week
except for the jonah's and fatali which i abandoned after 3 weeks.
i kept these under a 105w cfl untill they had their second set of true leaves (which took ages) and then
chose the strongest looking of each variety to grow in the hydro system.

This is my setup, which was started on 9.12.2010

any advice or questions are very welcome!!

progress so far:

to begin with i moved the plants around a few times to see if there was any difference in growth but i wont be moving them from now on
as light distribution seems totally even.

and this is how they are as of today 26.1.2011

as u can see ive had a problem with the Ts and yellow 7pod :(

both were largely covered in black spots so i removed all the affected leaves to try to stop it spreading.

any idea what it could be? unfortunately i dont have pictures of the leaves with the spots on them.

so far so good with the other 2

can you post pictures of the spots on the leaves? is this spotting followed by chlorosis? is it only around the leaf edges?

edit:
i like your system btw, are those dutch pots? with the dents in one side?

this is the best pic i could get as i got rid of the worst affected leaves.

dont think they are dutch pots by the way,
although i dont know what they are, but they dont have dents in one side.

that looks like some sort of pathogen tbh im sure someone else can chime in with much more experience than myself.
heres a picture from my grow log.
this is what im like 75% sure is a k deficiency, tho ive never gotten it to stop despite copious amounts of k.

also this is a dutch bucket.

also called bato buckets apparently.

edit:
very bad spelling

any thoughts on what i should do? im tempted to just pull out the two affected plants 2 stop it spreading to the others.
