Have ya seen the Farmers Jalapeno?

That Farmer's Market Jalapeno has a nice sweet taste with only a little heat. Unusual look to it too. Also there is a purple Jalapeno if you want something with an unusual color. I grew the Numex Pinata last year (multicolor Jalapeno) and while it had the nice multicolor thing happening, to me the taste was just OK. Also the plants weren't very productive, so I don't recommend that one.

Growing farmers / potato jalapeno this year.  So far, they remain green.  So cant speak to the heat when red.  When green, they have an amazingly concentrated sweet bell flavor with little if any heat.  Wife put one into a pot of stew and I could taste the green bell sweet.  Usually I put many bell into the same size pot to taste that much sweet pepper.

Imagine a bell pepper only nearly solid inside.  I have been slicing them length wise, eating as a snack, sometimes use them to dip into blue cheese dressing.

I really liked the farmers market jalapeños I grew this year, and I normally don't really like jalapeños. I would recommend those. I stuff then with cream cheese, wrap them with bacon, then either smoke them, or roast them in the oven. Great peppers! The skin adds a pleasant layer of texture when you eat them. I'll definitely grow them next year.

Biker Billy and the Gigante Jalapeno from Burpee are very tasty and are on the higher end of the heat for this type of pepper. I've grown them for the past 3 seasons.

I got some pretty generic Early Jalapeño seeds on-deck, but once i run thru those, I'm stoked to get the Billy Biker seeds.  Those things are reputed to be quite flavorful and hotter than the typical Jalapeño, plus they look sick with plenty of corking...

Im going with my gut next year and its telling my to go for the Biker Billy jalapenos..I like mine hot and ive heard they have great flavor too. Around here all the markets carry mostly the Mammoth/Goliath types that are just plain flavorless duds. Ive grown them myself and every one was a disappointment for the last 3 seasons. Not just mild but flavorless too.

Mucho Nachos look good too if the reviews are accurate. I may take a chance on a plant or two depending on space i have available.
