New lamp from NELSON smoking, normal? height?

Hello you,

I just brought a "Portable-flood 150W Lamp, IP44 rating" and after half an hour I found there are verrrry little smoke coming out and I can smell burning rubber...is this normal for a new lamp?

I also attached a picture of it:

the distuance between the babies and the lamp is 25cm

(Please delete this thread as I have already returned this lamp......after 2 hours of using it my house smile like a racing track)

More likely your plastic mount than the light.

the smoke came out from that light...very hard to notice, but based on the smell that strong, I think it is not normal....

I'd keep a close watch on it. You may find it's too hot. Not to induce too much fear but I've seen lamps go up in smoke that were bought bulb-in.
