 Starting my first garden, working on the pepper seeds now.. have extracted them from their mothers...lol.. washed and dried them ,  now their incubating on a big aluminum tray w/ moist paper towels & some 5% root starter / water solution @ about 80 degrees, with a clear plastic bag covering
90% of the tray.
 
I highly recommend you swap out the paper towels with coffee filters. The weave on paper towels is fairly loose, and if you don't catch them quickly enough, the roots can embed themselves in the towel, making removal difficult. If you break the root off most likely the plant will die. Coffee filters have a much tighter weave. Congrats on your new addiction!  ;)
