Newbie needs help

Hallo all.
I want to grow hot peppers in pots outside but it would be my first time and im lost.     
I dont know which peppers to start with and I'm looking for recommendations. Prolific, super hot, productive chili pepper to make good sauces would be good. For what i've read Tabasco, habanero's, 7 pots' are good and productive.
what are your favorites chilis you think i can't lost? I want to grow some of the hottest first for sure but otherwise idk LOL.

tabasco are meh, plain orange habanero is meh. 7 pots are good.
 
red ghost peppers, chocolate habanero, 7 pot brainstrain yellow or just 7 pot yellow is probably great to start with.

If I had to grow only 5 chiles for the rest of my life they would be:

Chocolate Habanero
 
Fish Pepper
 
Aleppo
 
Numex Big Jim
 
The baja goat and choc hab are hot enough for my tastes, and pretty much all are daily/weekly use in our household.
