Newbie questions about growth

This is my first year of growing peppers. (Butch T & chocolate Habs)

started germination in mid April...abit late I believe. They are about 9 inches tall at the moment...

The question I have is....will they mature and produce any pods before winter hits? (I live in middle georgia)

Generally how long does it take to produce pods from seed? (assuming decent conditions)

If they don't make it I will just over-winter them but would obviously want them to produce in a few months..

Anyways....thanks ahead of time!

You have a pretty good chance that they will produce. Esp. because the weather is nice and hot in your zone. If they are in pots, potting them up will help the growth a ton! There are a lot of variables when it comes to producing pods. But 5-6 months is a good time table for the Chinese's to start producing

Agreed, that is enough time to get some full sized pods grown at the least, perhaps more than you expect unless there's an early frost but either way it can finish what it started indoors when the time comes.
