Not orange habanero

This forum got me to notice a lot of people were getting "not habaneros" from commercial packs from grocery chains...so I went to check out the local store and found this.  They're definitely hotter than an orange hab...probably some sort of cross I'm guessing, maybe not...they're also darker, a tinge of red.  Starting a few seeds while it's still early enough, I want to see what happens.

there orange habs , i think the size eluded to poor growing conditions prolly bad weather neglected/older plants

just a guess but this is what you can expect from commercially grown stock i have seen different sizes through out the years

thanks your friend joe

Haha well I guess I'm growing more orange habs.  They'll sell well at the farmer's market anyways.  The ones I have my own seed stock that grow like the ones on the left.  Maybe they'll still turn out to be a cross or a mutant, who knows.
