Not Pepperoncini?

Help! I got several seeds from another member here last year in a giveaway - these were supposed to be Chocolate BBG, they appear to be small Banana Peppers,
have a mild heat to them and taste somewhat like a Pepperoncini. Any ideas? 
 
I'm beginning to wonder what other surprises I may have growing out there..... LOL

nope not cbbg7 . what a shame , sucks growing something for so long and it not be what you wanted !  then have to wait till next season .

Yeah I can tell that, but it's ok, I've got variety, and they were free so won't complain. Just want to know how to what kind they truly are.... then I will find a use for them.

Naw, don't look like any lemon drops I've ever seen.... sure don't have that lemony taste to them either....

Updated pics a few weeks later - still no ideas? I'm thinking it's maybe looking like a Sante Fe Grande, or a Fresno maybe?
