I stumbled on this while looking for general nutrition information on other peppers.

If this is right, the Bhuts are way more healthy than I thought. Just one pepper gives you 80% of your vitamin A and 170% of the vitamin C.

Seems like just the right vegetable for fighting the flu bug this year.

Seems a heck of a lot more potent than the Cayanne which many people claim is a great natural remedy.

I have heard that ounce for ounce, peppers are a much better source of Vitamin C than citrus fruits. Granted, most people won't be willing to substitute hot peppers for oranges... but chiliheads should have relatively good immune systems. ;) One has to be careful not to go down the road of seeing them as a cure-all. [Not that I am implying that you are] But, it is amazing.... I haven't died even once since I started eating hot peppers.
 
Haha... westin haven't died once since he started eating hot peppers... Well that might be proof enought then... Lol... :-)

I will use that argue in front of my family next time they think im crazy - thanx man... ;-)
