Odd Shapes

This jalapeno plant is about 6 months old and has produced quite a few peppers already. Most of the peppers are oddly shaped/ deformed.
 
Is it maybe a different plant or is there just something wrong with it?

It's probably just the genetics that are a bit off, maybe the variety was created using an bell pepper and it shows off in this particular plant.

My jalapeno plant produced great pods but as the season came to the end the started growing strange shaped ones. It grew a few after it was brought inside and they looked a lot like those

 I would credit the funky shapes to weather or being unhealthy. Might be lacking some phosphorus ?  Has it been super hot or cold in your region?Maybe a lack of sunlight ?  I have had many pepper plants put out odd shaped pods when conditions are not perfect. Plant looks a little stressed.

How hot do those clay bricks get and are they cooking the roots? I would with romy6, weather plays a huge role as does nutrients.
