Orange Jalapeno?

i have a plant that is giving orange jalapeno?
probably a cross...

been grown from red jalapeno seeds grown by a friend last year.

should i try to continue this strain?

As i've found out this year peppers can take a circuitous route across the rainbow while ripening.

I had an orange hab a while back that came up fully yellow for instance, for two full weeks, before it finally ripened to red.

I suspect yours may be doing something similar, and is pausing at orange on its way to ripe.

will try to put pics... but turned from green to orange in 2 days!
it's teh second of this plant! her brother (other plants from seeds of the same jalapeno throw red jalapeno.

like if one seeds was giving orange jalapeno
more info to come

I've grown Jalapeno's before and prefer them red. If you've ever grown them they will turn orangish just before going to red and fully ripe.

I've seen orange in the market mixed in with the green, usually it's just one, and has a little green on it. Are you sure (as LGHT says) this is not just a stage?
