Ordering fresh pods question

If I order a couple boxes of fresh pods to make pepper mash with is it ok to save some of the seed to plant next spring? sorry another newbie question

Hell yea, save away. I would ask the vendor if he isolated, but either way that is a great way to test something before you commit!

Pods being sold are likely not isolated for purity but there is still good odds that they will grow true

I agree. My isolated pods rarely make it into the boxes I sell. I have had a some customers who have grown plants that were true though. Hybrids aren't all bad anyway. Grow em out!

ya from the sellers ive spoken with recentl, most boxed pods arent isoloated, but its worth sowing some if you dont need purebred peppers becasue they can come out either very simlar and unnoticeable, or better even.. If its one you dont like the cross of, toss it.. No harm
done.
