Organizing/Storing Seeds

This is my first season, and I know there must be a better way than this to organize my growing seed inventory:

How do you organize your seeds?

Business card sleeves in a 3 ring binder, the little envelopes most of us use to trade seeds fit just right.

I keep them in a container as you do, but I have sections: ornamentals, "milds", hots, superhots. Each section is alphabetized. I also have a "for sharing" section that has bags of seeds that I have zillions of. That way I can quickly grab seeds for friends who want to try growing something different.

Hell I guess I'm the only disorganized one here. I have a tupperware container with seed bags (labeled of course) but yea they're just tossed in there willy-nilly lol. It takes me at least a minute to find what I'm looking for haha.

Well, I went with the binder.  My wife also got me a pencil pouch to hold coin envelopes, pens, address labels, stamps.  All the seeds look quite impressive laid out this way, really giving me a sense of just how many I have.  There is one glitch though...

I keep a paper plate inside the cover flap for seed sorting.

Here's the "glitch.  The binder's too small!  I have 15 pages with 9 pockets each, so far.  I'll need a bigger binder.  Some of you long time seed hoarders would need several!

I still think this is a good way to keep my seeds. If nothing else, it's very portable
