Oven Roasted Tomato Soup???

Hello Everyone ,

I want to make an Oven Roasted Tomato soup. Anyone have a good recipe out there ?

I know I can simply play around and come up with one. But an idea might be nice.

In my mind .....

Oven roast a bunch of Romas , yellow onions , garlic , and maybe some red bell peppers. For herbs and such use some basil , paprika , if it needs a little more of a kick up add garlic and onion powder. Put the romas , onions , and garlic in a blender , blend , add to a pot with some chicken broth. Heat and simmer until the flavors have blended.
