water Overwatering?

I think I might be overwatering.  I had a ton of little knatts and the leaves starting yellowing.. can anyone help?

Posting pics would help, but since the leaves are yellowing most likely the cause is overwatering. Gnats often arrive due to fungus starting in the soil, which also comes from overwatering. 

Recommendations in addition to backing off on the watering can't really be made until we have an idea of how old your plants are.

pictures would help a better diagnosis, sounds like overwatering.  Do the leaves look like someone sprinkled salt on the bottom side?
