Panama red

Hey all, here is a panama red I just chopped on Tuesday, grown in Autopots, coco coir/perilite and general hydroponics salts. I’ll be trying this method on Chilis as soon as I get some seeds above ground. Grown legally here in AZ 🤘🤘🤘

Now to get her dried and cured 🤙

Nice looking! Who's genetics is it from? Ace?

I’m a Sativa fan myself, have an extensive collection ….. but a nice hybrid or even strong indica has its place.

My last 4 runs have all been pure Sativas but the next one I’ll be running a bunch of modern hybrids, some real frost monsters too. Should be fun 🤙🤙🤙

I miss the 1970s we had Colombian gold and red Santa Marta weed that fantastic, then it was Indica sativa hybrids, just wasnt the same.

I have both of those strains preserved in my seedbank. Punto Rojo also along with a bunch of others. Packed in vials with desiccant beads and stored in the freezer they’ll last 25-30 years. I do that with all my seeds now, pepper and tomatoes included.

Wish I could grow sativa where I'm at PNW. Some Thai and classis Maui Wowie would be high on my list.
That is some nice looking Panama red. I think I need to load up my New Riders of Purple Sage music again.

She was grown indoors my friend, you can grow indoors too 🤘🤘🤘
I used to do all my growing indoors. I just never had true sativa seeds at the time. These days it seems just about any variety is available somewhere.
True Maui sativa is lost I'm afraid. I used to know growers upcountry that grew spectacular fluffy sativa with mango compost. I have lost track of all those people now though.
Thailand has made some moves to Register and protect their sativas. They are passing out plants to citizens now.
