paying it forward (seed giveaway)

Hi All,

As the title implies, I have some seed to give away.

I have available:

7 Pot Red
Bhut Jolokia (Red)
Congo Habanero - Brown
Congo Habanero - Red
Fatalii
Mustard Habanero
Red Habanero
Red Devils Tongue
Trinidad Scorpion Butch T

Please send me a PM if interested in any of these.

I am in Australia, but, don't worry, I will not delete your PM conversation if you are from overseas (which has happened to me without notice and I don't know whether it is embarassing or frustrating or both).

The seed is better off with other members than sitting in envelopes in my cupboard, and recent trade has asked only for me to pay it forward, so that's another reason to give the seed away :) .

Regards,

Tim

Gee, good question.

I'm not sure, but these seeds were grown out as 'Congo Habanero', and some came out bright red so I collected and propagated those too.

So whether they are designated brown or black, I just dunno. Irrespective, once they go down the gullet, they taste great :P

Regards,

Tim

PS - Happy to send you some if you want to test for yourself

I'll close this offer up for now (at least until I figure out how much is left given the existing requests)

Regards,

Tim

Deleting conversations - I've noticed this. The first time it happened I was annoyed and frustrated. But eventually and over time I came to adopt this myself. Not because I was neccesarily finished with the conversation, or trying to be rude, but I had 6 convos to save RE peppers being mailed, a dozen for seeds I was giving out, easily a dozen for seeds I was requesting, and a finite limit on the number of concurrent conversations. It got to the point where I HAD to delete conversations I was interested in, because there was nothing else (At the time) to do with them. The extereme membership doubles your inbox capacity iirc, and thus gives you more flexibility. The alternative would have been to screenshot peoples addresses and keep them in a folder... But I didn't want to be responsible for people's personal information like that. Better to leave them in the care of thehotpepper.com's mailbox system :)

Hi Ken,

Reading your post suggests that I should be a little clearer I think.

My beef is when two people are corresponding, and one asks the other a question, then the PM trace is deleted by the other person without answer, notice or reason. I know people are busy but common courtesy can't be too much to ask can it?

I appreciate your feedback and information.

Regards,

Tim

Boom, spot on.

Another bug for me is when the person just flat out doesn't read the thread and stops responding after a few replies.
