Peach Congo

I was topping a bunch of my plants the other day....when I was time to top my Peach Congo's I never realized how big their leaves can get and the plant is only 6 weeks...heres a couple pics.......my third year growing them ....nice pepper...very productive for me last year...work well in a sauce.

How are you faring with topping plants in Ontario?

Well it would be real nice just to have a few extra weeks in the season...but I get by not to bad.........if I can get my plants out in the second week of May to start hardening them off I usually have a good harvest.
I top my plants as early as possible for the space and start them getting that new growth ...that second growth seems to take the colder,crappy weather a little better  that we sometimes get during the hardening off period.Then i just hope for a long sunny summer.
