Peonies

Anybody grow Peonies?  They are expensive as hell.  Nursery wants $75 for one.  I need someone to give me a clipping!

$75 seems like way too much unless it's a tree peony. I don't think I paid more than $20 a few years ago. On the other hand, they live a long time. When my late father's house sold, we dug up a red peony that had been there about 100 years.

$20 is were they start, was at the Greenhouse today. The larg ones will got to $80 but you looking at several years worth.

It looks like the prices vary by a lot depending on what ones you choose.
