I've been growing an unknown jalapeno species from the dreaded walmart. dun dun dun.
The variety seems to peak at around 2"-2.5" long. Some seem to be average looking, but the first two that produced had odd ends on it.

Here's the abnormality:
I cut the tip and the insides had what looked like burnt edge seeds:
Now I did notice, when I cut a good piece off the jalapeno pictured above, that it had a worthless mild bell pepper taste to it. NO HEAT! I understand it could be the variety?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
