Pepper I.D.

Can anyone ID this pepper. It is a mystery seed from pepperlover.
I'm thinking it's some kind of Thai pepper. The ripe ones are 2.5
inches long.

could be a super chili f1, the pods start out light green, then turn orangish, then finally red - usually a very productive plant pods mainly point upright and can be slightly hotter than a ceyenne.

pods are nice in a stir-fry or soup/stew. i have several small plants this year, my mother plant overwintered for about 2 years before finally dieing but with this type of annuum there is really no need to overwinter as the seeds generally germinate well(without heat) and the seedlings are usually hardy. my small plants already have flowers.

good luck and happy growing.

Whatever they are, they look great! My tobasco plant grew very well and produced a huge load of peppers, they were HOT too, way hotter than a tobasco sauce.
