Pepper identification plz

Hi all,

Need some help with pepper ID. Pick up about a half dozen of these for a verde sauce, can any one identify them.

Listed as Numex peppers.
Larger than a habanero.
Ripen yellow to orange.
Listed as 800-1000 Scoville.

I have not tasted yet.

Cheers,
HH

They might be NuMex Suave Orange.

The ones I tried had a pleasant, somewhat sweet orange hab-like flavor and only a faint burn. It was just a slight tingle on the tongue, really.

Or they might be NuMex Trick or Treat, but those are supposed to be completely heatless.

Great my guess was also the suave orange but I didn’t want to introduce bias!

Thank you. I’ll try them tomorrow probably.

Never tried a green one but taste is subjective.  Depends what they're being used for.  Try one. They're showing color so they might ripen anyway.

Trying to make a verde sauce with these, heatless habaneros, jalapeños, bishops crown, and a few seranos for my girlfriend as she can’t handle the super hots.

They’re all half ripe.

Yeah I agree. I didnt know that subform existed when I posted this.

If a mod wants to move it feel free.
