Pepper Samples

Buddy wanted some hot peppers and I wanted some poppers, so I picked a few today. Buddy has his
requested pods on the right plate, but the left one is up for grabs.

Includes: Scorpion (red and yellow), Lemon Drop, Fatalii, Dorset Naga, Chocolate Hab, Aji de la
Tierra, Congo Trinidad, Douglah, Datil, Costeno Amarillo, Red Savina and a couple of what I
believe to be a Douglah x Scorpion cross. Shipped anywhere in the CONUS for $22.

Great looking pods SS, are you gonna try and stabilize the possible douglah X scorp ?

Yeah, I plan on growing several plants in ground next season to see how it performs and how true it is. Next year will we'll see if it's worth the effort of growing it out several years.

Can you spot the 2 crossed pods on that plate?

it looks like the one right above the big yellow pod on first plate is a douglah cross , the one directly below the fataliis that is

I have a similar Douglah cross. Plant was labeled douglah, pods came out red with the blocky pimply look of a 7 and a mean scorpion tail. Later pods are smaller and look like the ones pictured above. Don't know what it will be like next year, but I know 1 thing, it is hot as hell! Even after dehydrating you could still see a ton of oil lining the walls.

They definitely have that Douglah, bottom of the pod fold. :mouthonfire:

yeah they do, I wasnt sure about the one to left cause I couldnt see the bottom that well, and wasnt sure if it was just a scorp they grew the bottom out. cool looking pods, hows the heat/flavor more scorp or more douglah?

I gotta see if I can dig up any pics of the older pods, cant remember if I took any. I can get pics of what they look lke now tomorrow.

WM, when you slice one the Douglah smell is obvious and the taste leans more toward the Douglah, but its better IMO and more flavorful than a normal Douglah's earthy cap taste. It's damn hot.

silver: package arrived safe and sound. thanks for the great looking pods and for the wonderful extra surprise. can't wait to try some of these.
