Pepper weevils?

I have 1-2mm holes appearing in many of my pepper pods and upon cutting open there appear to be eggs and browning of the surrounding areas. The fruit ripen prematurely, dry-rotting from the inside out. Every time I see a plant with one colored pod on it I find the pod to be infected. Could this be anything else besides Pepper Weevils? A little wolf type spider crawled out of one of said peppers today when I cut it open, but I assume he inhabited it after it opened up. Not the most pleasant surprise cutting open a pepper and having a spider climb out.

Thanks for any help

I have had a few pods punctured this year too.
Here is possible.

Eric, it is going pretty well, plants are growing nicely so long as the peppers do not get bitten or stung or whatever is happening.. On my Hungarian Wax it is to the point where the peppers don't make it long enough to ripen before being punctured. I see tons of wasps and spiders on the plants and I cannot find any weevils or yellow flies.

Thus far I have not found anything that moves inside of the pods, but they look a lot like eggs, I will try to get pics of the next one that I find. They are white and look a lot like pepper seeds except they are attached to the interior wall of the pods and not the membranes.
