Peruvian gooseberry, Physallis peruviana

This is a first for me. They are apparently a variety of ground cherry (tomatillo), which I have never grown before, either.

The seeds have sprouted, and the babies are growing very slowly for now. Does anyone have any sage advice?

tomatillo are the best I grow the green and purple type, and a wild one that is sweet. great for salsa verde

I like tomatillos a lot--this one is (I think) orange in color and very sweet. a request from my sister.
