I know it would be a stupid thing to do but has anyone ever pickled a super hot such as a ghost or reaper butch t? I think it would be a good way to store them.
yeah i did some last year for my neighbor. We took about a half pound and pickled them with two heads of garlic. The plan was to make a hot sauce and put it on here. Haven't gotten around to making the sauce yet. Pretty sure they were pods from silver surfer.
You can infuse and bottle oil with them. I have a bottle of Naga Morich and Bonda Ma Jacques on my counter. It gets replenished with new oil often.
Great on crusty garlic rubbed bread.
