Pizza peppers?

I'm looking for seeds of those peppers you get with pizzas. I think there pepprochini or something like that. I love these but can't find seeds does anyone know where I can get some?

i think that the crushed red pepper flakes that you see in pizza places are typically a combination of cayennes and something a bit less hot (poblano or anaheim).  if you're talking about the green pickled peppers, then they are pepperoncinis and you should be able to buy some seeds most anywhere.

I think he means the whole green pepper, pepperoncini. Fast food pizza joints (Papa John?), if I am not mistaken, throw a couple in the box, or on the pizza.

Also remember, they are pickled. So you'll also want a pickling recipe, or maybe that's why you like them, and you can pickle all kinds of different peppers to see what you like.

Rebel is probably talking about the pickled ones you get with Papa John's pizza.

I do think they're pepperoncini.

I love them.

Those peppers are good on a salad with bleu cheese. They add the perfect tangy bite to counter the sharp cheese.

Yep. Pickled pepperoncini. I once bribed a PJ's cashier with cash to fill the box around the pizza with extras.... I wound up with two handfuls of them in the box.... muwahahahaha!!!!

I don't have any seeds, but I know for a fact that Burpee has them. Saw them when I was ordering my tabascos a week or so ago

The seeds from the peppers may be viable. No joke. I've heard of this working. But if you don't want to risk it, yeah, buy some.

i saw them on our good vendor pepperjoe's site.

do pepperoncini ripen to red and just picked green or do they rot as green? i don't know never grew them but do snack on them, pickled of course.
