Plants Look Rough

Got some Scotch Bonnets that I used full strength Miracle-Gro on once a week for several months. I stopped when the leaves started yellowing and dropping. Small amount of dropped peppers too. I'm not sure what's causing it maybe the miracle grow, but anyone with ideas I'd like your help. I want to avoid this next year.

Ha! Yeah next year I'm doing 5 gallon pots. Do you think that's what the problem is?

I'm no expert. You're plants actually look a lot better than mine!
 
Leaves will naturally turn yellow and fall off. However, your leaves do look somewhat nute burnt. I'll leave that to the more experienced guys.
 
The plants look good though. Especially for such little bitty shoes
