What causes black seeds in pepper pods?
I have a problem with black seeds in abot 30% of my peppers.
How do I post a picture?
 
black seeds are good for pubesense varieties (rocotos)
 
If you mean your peppers are rotting on inside and its moldy, smells bad, and dark seeds this is pretty common for the first harvest to be crappy. Especially if it has been wet. Not sure exactly what causes it, problem usually fixes itself.
 
:welcome: to T.H.P. !  +1 to what juanitos said .  got a few like that now smaller pods .  been a lot of rain this year and now humidity .  
 
Welcome!, Yeah what everybody else said is true. Mine have been doing that some, but they are looking better.
 
Thank you. It seems to only affect my Reaper's, 7 Pot Red and the Moruga Scorpion. The 7 Pot Douglah Brown's and Chocolate Bhut Jolokia's are ok. We did have 28 straight days of rain here in Dallas.

I haven't had any irregular smell or mold on the inside, just black color on most of the seeds. Do you know if it's safe to eat after cutting the seeds out and dehydrating? Also, how can I upload pictures on here?
