I was debating if I should use some pots that my dad could have possibly sprayed chemicals on. They were in the garage and hes very careless. I was just wondering if I wash them would they be okay? Also, if there was something in there will it get into the fruit if it doesn't kill the plant? I just don't want to have to go buy some new pots just in case.

If it doesn't kill them could it leach into the pods? I'm more concerned with me eating the chemicals.
