soil Potting soil

Bleach at 1;10 ratio.

I would not use potting mix over again because peat moss is just small partical s as it is, when it breaks down(1-2 year) it will cause root rot. Pine media lasts longer and when I reuse mine I never have to sterelize ever. Things like hydroton(expended clay pellets) need to be sterelized then reused. A reason large commerical operations do NOT use hydrotone. A soilles media can be used then thrown away, saving huge on labor and time.

like capsicum said 1:10 ratio bleach to water. you can even use hot water above 141 degrees and put your soil into the pots you want to grow and pour it over it you just dont want to use cooler water because bacteria forms in water between 41 and 141 deg f. ive been doin it for a couple years now. just remember it kills the good stuff too
