container-growing Potting up square........pots

Hi Guy's

How do you pot up ?

Personally I love square pots they fit beautifully in your trays big of small and are super efficient use of space.

I tend to go seed cell to 7cm then 9 cm then 11cm all square and I always repot in the corner of the pot like you see below.

I find it much quicker than trying to centralize which I often find leaves small missed hollow spaces, this never happens when you repot in the corner

I only repot to the centre when I move to round pots.

What do you do ?? Square or round for seedlings and corner or central potting up ?

Mainly square pots also, plants always centered (by habit)

Wow who'd have thought it would be such a controversial subject 🤔 🤣

But when repotting lot's of seedlings it saves so much time 👍work smarter not harder 😎

And next repotting I go the other corner and finally centralize in my final pot's which are round

What a concept! I be likin' it! I'm wondering about root development, though. Do the roots in the corner have any problems developing, being so "confined", or do they develop with the same vigor as the roots toward the center of the pot?
