Potting Up

I got a quick question on potting up. I currently have my plants in #3 contianers and I wanted to move some of the bigger ones into #7s so they have some more breathing room. Does anyone have any tips on potting up a more mature plant, i.e. how to do it safely, or with the least amount of risk to the roots. Also, would you hold off if there are any pods on it?

easy. lay her on her side, being careful not to break any branches, then pat the outside of the container to free the root ball from the sides. container should slide right off, then you just pot up! you can disturb the root bound roots if you'd like before covering with soil and transplanting. No need to hold off due to fruit set. Oh, and don't water just before you do it. Its easier with a dry root mass and soil.
